Fred Benenson's Blog: 9/11

While this isn't related to SL specifically, I desire to post this. It's not political or religious. It's important to watch, remember who we are as Americans.

Thank you to Jon Stewart who spoke from his heart on September 20, 2001, the first show back on the air after the tragedies. While you listen, look at the NASA site's picture from space taken September 11, 2001. The smoke was so visible.

We were attacked. But we do not despair. The view changed from the Towers to the Statue of Liberty for South Manhattan. How appropriate.

We have endured, grown and are better now than ever before. We won, not the terrorists.

2 blogs, am I nuts?!?

Yes, I am officially nuts. If you'd like references to verify that, please contact me.

My other blog will focus on places in Second Life. This blog will be more free-form and dealing with Second Life and my activities there, avoiding political and religious discussions.

I've been a resident of Second Life for over 4 years now. In Second Life terms, that is a long time. I'm not the oldest, of course. But there are still many stories to tell about the way things used to be in order to educate the youngsters. (Black Wednesday, gray goo attacks, teleport hubs, etc.?)

I remember the days before you could teleport to any spot you wanted...
